The documents referred to as Scrowle's Papers were mentioned in Vikki Verso and presented in Scrowle's Papers. They consisted of the writings of one Henry Nathan Scrowle and also included the writings of a Dr John M. Hartington (who, although active in the 1850s, may somehow have been connected to the Hartington said, in Vikki Verso, to have transcribed the writings of Barnabas Scarfe in 1763). Found in Barguest's Secondhand Books (which had acquired them from a woman of Elsom), they are also referred as being part of the Scarfe-Hartington Collection.
