Too many DJs

The end result of this phenomenon... (Image © Amazon.co.uk)

For unexplained reasons, and becoming something of a running joke at times, the forename initials DJ seem to be unusually common amongst contributors to Atlantean publications; this was especially noticeable when DJ Weston was contributing regularly. The best known DJ, of course, is editor DJ Tyrer. Besides DJ Weston, you might spot DJ Maudlin. DS Davidson is not a DJ, but might fool you into thinking he is.

The trend, and an overlapping one for the frequently-occurring name David, was parodied by Neil K. Henderson in his story The Day of the Davidians.

Besides DJs, you will also notice double initials such as AK and AC.
